About me
I always wanted to create images that capture the complexity in our world.
My motivation is to make you more alert to the big and little wonders around you and create a good feeling about yourself and your surroundings. In school I started specializing in visual arts and afterwards studied illustration and communications design. My final work was a book about the ghost town Kolmannskuppe in the Namib desert, a unique and magical place in constant change trough the shifting sand. During my studies I regularly traveled to South Africa and Namibia, where I also did some layout work for a publishing company. Then I went to Australia for a year to work and travel, gaining great impressions and unforgettable memories whilst improving my English. Thereafter I returned to South Africa, lived and worked in Cape Town for over a year and finally relocated to Namibia - where I lost my heart and found my soul - and started KaroLines Art&Design. |
